Front Row Joe at the Magic Show

A few months ago we listened to Hurry Up Houdini.  And Henry get a little bit fascinated with magic tricks.  One afternoon the kids asked if they could do a magic show for me -- of course!
They dazzled me with card tricks, a disappearing lime, a magical scarf.  And the culminating act was pulling a bird out of a hat!  (This took place when we conveniently had a flock of chicks living in our laundry room).  It was all so cute I practically couldn't stand it (and I took pics on the sly with my phone every chance I got).  

Every once in a while I want to make these rascals disappear, but for the most part, it's pretty magical being their mom.  ;)
