1-5pm

We swim every single day (pretty much), some time between the hours of 1 and 5pm.
It makes the suffocating heat of the afternoon bearable.
Lots of the time we invite cousins or friends.  Sometimes it's just us (and Halley :).

Sometimes I get my hair wet and do back dives to dazzle the kids; sometimes I opt for the mellow chill of the side of the pool.  
We have a lot of fun.


We come home stringy-haired, wet-bottomed and hungry for dinner.
