sold and pigtails

this weekend we became first time home sellers. after a few "close-calls" in the selling process, everything went through. from our end, it worked out beautifully - we hope the buyers are feeling the same way. we signed papers friday afternoon and then we literally did not stop working until...well...now. i have a heartful of feelings and a headful of thoughts about the change -- but I also have an aching back and heavy eyelids.

So for now, I just want to quickly document another important family milestone:

Lily's first day in piggie tails...

i wanted to take her picture.

she wanted to play peek-a-boo.
where's Lily?

There she is!

yay!

one look at that little face and i remember that life is bright and good. and that there should be plenty of smiling.

and sometimes clapping, too.

  1. Phew! I bet it feels to good to have that all behind you...even though there is so, so much on the horizon.

Ps: Ms. Lily needs to sport pig tails on a regular basis. She looks darling...and those teeth! My goodness she is getting to be a big girl!
