This is Mia (the bear baby).
Not to be confused with my friend Natalie's recently-birthed, beautiful little Mia (the human baby).
Ever since Henry got wind of baby Mia's arrival, he's insisted on carrying his little Mia everywhere. A few days ago, she came with us to Costco and Hobby Lobby. The other morning she rode on the stroller while we went to the park. When we came home, Henry told me he wanted to play outside and left me with strict instructions to "put Mia down for a nap. She sleeps in my drawers in my closet -- in the middle one. First sing her a little lullaby song. That's what I do when I put her down and she doesn't even cry. And then snuggle her up. Okay?"
Okay.
He ended up coming in and helping me; some responsibilities are just too precious to be delegated. We sang her a lullaby (I Am Like A Star Shining Brightly). We each gave her a gentle kiss. And we put her down. She went down without a fuss; such a good baby.
It's just so darling to watch husky Henry who usually wields sticks and "fling-shots," doting on a bundled baby bear.

So cute! Nathan is a bit like that too with his stuffed animals...although it is less now that he's a little older.
