Henry got such a kick out of our bedtime story last night. Lots and lots of laughing. Fun to catch it on camera. I got frustrated with him this afternoon 'cause he was doing all his chores at snail's pace and there was plenty of murmuring, too. I was having to ask him several times to do every single thing. While I was making dinner, I was venting my frustrations to Nate. I got all my gripes out and Nate just looked at me quietly. I thought for a minute and added, "but he is so nice to his sister, he helps her with a million things every day. And plays with her all the time. And he has such an easy laugh. We can work on the pokeyness and murmuring; he's such a good boy."
Ups and downs.
I love videos! It makes us feel like we aren't so far away. Avery is now begging me to "go to Henry's house" though. Lily's voice is sweet. And it makes me a tad nostalgic. I remember last summer wanting to video everything that Avery said because it all sounded so cute. I love you six and a half is so cute! Henry is six right? So its probably the best number she can think of. Sweet.
ReplyDeleteWhat precious videos! And, congrats to Lily on potty training!
ReplyDeleteI almost can't stand it. I think that age is just simply adorable!! "peach gum wadamellon peach" Her voice!! She is so cute emily. In my book there's nothing sweeter than a child who is so loved. It encompasses everything that's right in the world. :)
