Hello, Spring...
My parents have these little motor scooters...and they are sooooo fun.
You get on one and your cares instantly lift and you are nine again.
Also, guess who's riding on two wheels?
Watching him ride away all by himself made a complete nutty out of me - all manner of cheering, jumping up and down, clapping and hollering! I beamed and bloomed with pride.
Think he could stand a bigger (and less pink) bike, though. That (along with two thousand and a hundred* other things) is on his birthday list :)
*two thousand and a hundred is Henry's current favorite number. tonight in his prayers he asked Heavenly Father to bless his daddy with "two thousand and a hundred new clients." And then right as I tucked him in, he said, "oh man, mom - I'm just so excited about my birthday - my eyes are turning into cake!"
It seems like you are having so much fun in Oregon! It makes me so happy to read your blog. I love how you describe your life and how you feel. I'm still waiting for you to write a book. I'll surely be one of your first customers.
ReplyDeleteI just read your last post...I wish I were confident enough to be more introspective/thoughtful on my blog. I just don't really venture into that side of things. It tends to be about some braggy craft or silly story.
ReplyDeleteNot that I'm down on myself about it...just grateful you've caused me to think a bit about things and perhaps make some changes (not that a blog HAS to be any certain way...). You understand what I'm saying.
I can't believe Henry is riding a bike without training wheels. That kid always seems to be two steps ahead of most boys his age.
Simply Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteespecially you!
That scooter looks way fun! Oh, and my first thought when I saw that picture was, "Why is Henry riding a pink bike!?!" Glad you've got plans already to remedy that!
ReplyDeleteThose scooters do look fun! And Oregon looks gorgeous as always. Good luck on getting all two thousand and a hundred clients!
